This is probably my third or fourth attempt drawing a Scottish wildcat. Still not particularly pleased with it, but at least I’ve managed to keep that bad tempered expression that is such a part of our wildcats 🙂

Fringe Weather
I’ve just given up driving my bike into work this week and have suffered the traffic jams in the car instead. The weather forecast has just become so thoroughly useless of late!
Nostalgia
I’ve heard it suggested a few times now that everyone should just start keeping a list of the little things they see changing around them, keeping note of all the freedoms and rights we enjoy right now that drip by drip get taken away, because with each tiny drip we just don’t see it as all that much, but in a wee while, when you put it all together, you’re going to wish you said something sooner 🙁
This past week we’ve seen the first minister of our country be told that she will no longer be allowed to meet face to face with the prime minister of the “United” Kingdom. It says it all about the whole wanting Scotland to lead as part of an equal partnership.
Cybermidgies
This is one of those comics where I feel like it sounded so much funnier in my head, but the more time I spent preparing it, the more dull it sounded. Meh, wife laughed when she read it, so that makes it worth it I suppose.
Itching for Indy
Anyone else in that fatigue point right now where it’s just really, really difficult to come up with positive thinking stuff to do with politics? I had no cartoon last week, the first time that’s happened since I’ve begun, and today’s one is late, simply because I’m struggling to stay positive right now, and I really want to keep these cartoons positive if I can.
Anyway, I like this idea, I’m thinking of doing a few strips with these two guys, that could be a little fun.

I’m manning our SNP caravan in Dalgety Bay today, it’s our central base for supporters throughout the day. They’re all coming in looking rather soggy, glad I’m in here and not out there!

So UKIP’s manifesto yesterday promised to make it illegal to fly the EU flag over public buildings. I had no idea the sight of the flag alone was so very offensive to them, so much for building friendships with the EU after Brexit!
